What is deviantART's stance on asking for or giving out copyrighted music, video or programs while using the site?

Since music files, video files, programs and other similar items are considered copyright protected properties we do not allow our users to provide links or to ask for links to copies of these materials or any other copyright protected properties.

This prohibition applies to all areas of deviantART. Violating this policy may lead to the closing of your forum thread, deletion of your submission, removal of your journal entry, removal of your chat network privileges and possibly the banning of your deviantART account.
