I'm offended by something I saw on the website!

Here at deviantART we enjoy providing a platform for our deviants to freely exchange ideas and art works of various types and themes and we recognize that some individuals may hold viewpoints or use themes, political, religious, or otherwise, which are potentially offensive.

Given that works of art often evoke diverse and passionate responses, it is not surprising that some artistic expression will prove to be personally offensive to some viewers but the simple fact that a work may be viewed to be personally offensive will not necessarily indicate that the work is in violation of the deviantART terms of service or in need of removal by the deviantART staff.
