Why have my prints not been authorized after more than 24 hours?

Prints that have been submitted using the Standard Prints Service are available for purchase immediately but will not undergo Quality Control inspection until someone attempts to purchase the print or upgrading to a Premium Subscription Print Account. If the image is then rejected, the buyer is notified and the transaction is not completed.

If you are using the Premium Subscription Print Account, your print submissions will also be available for purchase immediately and will usually be reviewed within 24 hours on weekdays and non-holidays. However, if your prints have not been approved after 24 hours, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

1) Prints will be held beyond the 24-hour period when we are waiting to receive permission(s) for the use of stock imagery. This can be avoided by asking the stock artist(s) to CC a copy of their permission email(s) to you and only submitting your print when that permission email(s) has been received.

2) There may have been an error in the submission process that occurred before the print reached the print approval queue; if this is the case, you will not have been notified via email of the prints rejection. You can check the status of your recently submitted prints in your Prints Management center (click 'Update My Prints' in the right-hand column of your Message Centre and select 'Your Prints' from the list). If the print in question appears as Rejected, you will need to resubmit the print. Otherwise, please contact our Prints Customer Service Desk.
