Why can’t I see my ad on the homepage?

The deviantART homepage gets millions of impressions a day, which makes it difficult to spot a specific ad. Also, in order for your ad to be seen by as many people as possible, it is "frequency capped", meaning that a single person can only see your ad no more than 3 times a day.
