Why do print submissions have to undergo quality control?

We want to ensure that the products sold by our artists, and respectively purchased by our customers, are of the best quality possible, and allowed to be sold through deviantART to begin with. To accomplish that, we have clear and detailed print image quality requirements, submission guidelines and legal terms. The Prints Quality Control Staff consistently reviews all prints either right after submission (within 24 hours) or upon purchase based on these policies and will help artists to resolve any problems with custom approval and rejection responses.
